Usher Has A New Addition To His Family

Usher and wife Tameka Raymond welcomed their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, on Wednesday, December 10th. Weighing 5 pounds, 13 ounces. The couple have one other son together, 1-year-old Usher Raymond V.

Usher is currently organising his "One Night Stand" tour and is planning a 6th studio album for 2009. .

Suge Knight's Mansion Sold In Bankruptcy Court

The multi-million dollar home of Marion "Suge Knight was recently sold in bankruptcy court, adding to the rap mogul's list of problems. Knight's Malibu mansion was sold for $4.56 million dollars.

The sale comes on the heels of Knight being charged with two felony drug charges and one misdemeanor assault charge earlier this month. Knight, 43, allegedly assaulted a female acquaintance with a knife during an argument. Police also claim Knight was in possession of ecstasy and hyrdocodone on the night. 

Knight is also suing Kanye West, claiming the rapper is responsible for a $135,000 dollar diamond earring that was lost when Knight was shot in the leg, at a pre-VMA party.

With his track record with the law it seems that this criminal mastermind loves plotting revenge for the weekend.  

Wiley's Album Released This Monday

Produced by Mark Ronson and including collaborations with Lily Allen, Kano, Hot Chip and Daniel Merriweather. "See Clear Now" is Grime pioneer Wiley's attempt at a commercial breakthrough album. Wiley has dubbed "See Clear Now" his first pop record.

Beyonce To Perform At The Final x Factor of The Series

Beyonce Knowles is set to put a feud with Simon Cowell behind her and perform on the X Factor final.

Cowell has wanted Beyonce to appear for years, despite once amazingly claiming she was "not sexy" and "not a great singer." 

Beyonce's father and manager Matthew Knowles hit back, saying: "Simon wouldn't know a hit song, image or talent if it hit him in the face." Beyonce singing live is something to behold and would just be brilliant."

Producers are still celebrating after getting record ratings last week when Alexandra Burke performed "Listen" from Beyonce's film "Dreamgirls" and nearly 13 million viewers saw Britney Spears mime. 

Producers are confident Beyonce performing live on the December 13 final would smash that figure. 

Beyonce's 3rd solo album "I Am Sasha Fierce" is available to purchase from all major retail outlets. 

The Last Ever Jump Off

The December Jump Off will be the last ever Jump Off event. Jump Off TV will be launching new events in 2009.

The Miss Hip Hop Beauty UK 2008 Finals will take place throughout the night. LRG and Raw Blue are providing the clothing and there'll be some big name judges. Class Crew and Professor Green will also be down there along with DJ Manny Norte.

Lil Wayne On Top Of Other Artist

Lil Wayne has ended a spectacular 2008 with eight Grammy nominations, topping the list of all artists.

Rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West scored six nominations each, while Dangermouse, T.I and Lupe Fiasco both landed four nods.

Lil Wayne's "Carter III" which is the top selling album of 2008 and moved over a million units in its first week is up for the esteemed Album of The Year award. However, Wayne will battle albums by Ne-Yo, Robert Plant, Coldplay, Radiohead & Allison Krause for the title of 2008's best album. 

Other notable nominees include Estelle, Jazmine Sullivan, Rihanna, Kid rock, Flo-Rida, T-Pain, Nas & others.

The winners will be announced February 8 during the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.

50 Cent Hit By The Credit Crunch

Rapper 50 cent believes no one is safe from the current global economic crisis.

The hip-hop star's new album, "Before I Self-Destruct" was supposed to be released in the U.S on the 9th December. But he was forcsed to postpone the release until early 2009, because of fears that struggling music fans will be reluctant to splash out on CDs.

50 also admits the credit crunch has also begun to affect his investments, losing him "million of dollars".

He says, "pushing the album back was to position myself a little better. I've lost a couple of million dollars already. I sit with my investors and accountants and look at the decreasing value in stocks".

Jennifer Hudson's Brother-In-Law Arrested

Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law William Balfour was arrested on Monday for the connection with the murder of her mother, brother and 7 year old nephew. 

Balfour has been in custody at Stateville Correctional Center on a violation of parole since the murders, but has now been transferred into police custody. However, Balfour "still denies that he is guilty in this case".

Alesha Forgives Harvey

Alesha Dixon has revealed that she has forgiven ex-husband MC Harvey for cheating on her.

The singer said she no longer resents the former So Solid Crew member, who was unfaithful with Javine Hylton.

"I don't like being a victim - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. that is my past and I am over it."

Dixon released her album "The Alesha Show" last week and is currently 26 in the album chart positions.

Freeway Declares December Month of Madness

Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam artist Freeway will be releasing a song per day for the entire month.

The rapper aims to counteract a Hip Hop culture he feels has "become more dependent on sales, marketing and imaging, rather that the quality and value of the music itself." Freeway remains optimistic that his move will set a precedent among other artists. During the month Freeway will pay close attention to fan feedback and if the fans are feeling the project Freeway will follow up another "Month of Madness".

Wretch 32 who recently performed with a live band at I Luv Live Special, has released his debut album Welcome To My World after his successful mixtape Learn From My Mixtape. 

Welcome To My World is a fitting introduction to a creative album. Wretch expresses personal emotion and power from beginning to end. He was definitely in the zone during the process of putting this album together. Wretch enters a new level and raises the bar for other UK rappers. 

It is not a case of him trying to force it either. He reflects reality in today's society on many social levels and "Take This From Me" featuring Badness, is a true representation of this.

The first single of the album "Be Cool" featuring Wizzy Wow, is bouncy and Wretch comes with the punch lines. The track is all about being "space boy fly".

The album features two big Grime MC's, Scorcher and Chipmunk. They both deliver a precise chorus on "Chinese Whispers" confronting gossip and haters within the industry. "Swaggalicious" is a track for the ladies, where Wretch and Scorcher go-back-to-back promoting the positivity of women. 

No one can knock Wretch's word play. His context is immense and it's all matches with a variety of thumping beats.
